Smartmessages now includes anti-phishing measures.
Phishing is a nasty and insidious criminal activity, and any site that gathers personal data is a possible target (not just big sites like banks and eBay).
We're as keen as everybody else to avoid such things, so we've introduced a simple anti-phishing measure for all smartmessages accounts. In the settings tab you'll find a field where you can enter a URL. This URL should be for a page on your own web site, and on it, you should include a link back to smartmessages your landing page. This link will automatically appear on your landing pages, so anyone contemplating submitting data to your landing pages has some additional reassurance that we are who we say we are, and we are gathering data legitimately on your behalf.
This measure, coupled with our verifiable SSL security certificate should increase the confidence of anyone submitting personal data to you through us.
