Radiohead's carbon calculator, intended to assess the carbon footprint of fans travelling to gigs on their world tour, which kicks off on May 5th in Florida, went live today. The calculator was built by Synchromedia's Marcus Bointon for d::gen network, using their incomparable AMEE carbon calculator engine.

We've been involved behind the scenes with d::gen's AMEE carbon calculator project for quite a while, and we provide smartmessages mailing lists for AMEE's fast-growing user community. Today marks the launch of Google's carbon footprint application which is built on AMEE and is available as a gadget on the iGoogle home page. Congratulations d::gen and Google!
