Info@Hand 5.1 Release notes

All new installs of Info@Hand will use this new version, and upgrades for existing customers are free.

  • Includes Info At Hand Mobile 1.1, with many new filters and default sort orders to help you focus on current data, updated device support, and expanded Contact information.
  • Workflow automation support, to create your own custom-designed automated business workflows - available in Admin, Studio, Workflow.
  • Addition of credit card transaction processing within the payments module, with support for PSIGate and authorize.net.
  • New Marketing Events module with scheduled client email reminders.  Support for user self-registration will be provided in a forthcoming release of the Customer Portal.
  • Invoices are linked to Events, to track total sales generated by each Event.
  • Multi-select Category field added to Leads and Contacts, to facilitate classifying and filtering Contacts and Leads for marketing and sales purposes.
  • Email button in Leads and Contacts Mass Update Panel, to perform adhoc email campaigns to all selected Leads or Contacts - works well with the new category filters above.
  • Selection of business model (in Company Info screen of Admin) - Business to Business (standard), or Business to Consumer (new option) - to optimize system operation for businesses that sell to individuals, not businesses.
  • A new Partners module has been added to manage Partner records. Partners are linked to Leads, Opportunities, Invoices and Accounts to track their performance in creating new opportunities and closing sales.
  • Enhanced Internationalization Support: Address format selection on PDFs, to support a variety of international address formats.
  • Calendar mode selection for first day of the week - Sunday/Monday.
  • Full support throughout application for currency significant digits set to 0 - such as for Asian currencies.
  • Full support throughout application for Name Format.
  • Installer has been localized for support of multiple languages.
  • Company Week Calendar (removed for release 5.0) has been restored by popular request.
  • When Products or Assemblies are added to Quotes/Invoices as detail lines, a configuration option will now allow a comment line containing the Product or Assembly description to be automatically added below it.
  • A configuration option has been added to Company Info to allow the system wide default to be set for whether Quotes show list prices or not. This may still be over-ridden at the Quote level.
  • Case notifications have been enhanced to have close control of notifications for new cases, or case updates, for users and for contacts, as well as separate notification templates for new cases vs. updated cases.
  • Two new fields were added to Account detail view – First Sale date, and Latest Sale date. They are set automatically when creating Invoices, and may be used effectively when producing reports.

Of course there are lots of minor changes and bug fixes too.
